The process of permanently acquiring the land required for the construction of the 220 kV Trishuli–3B Ratmate–Galchhi transmission line has begun in order to make electricity service in Dhading and Nuwakot districts more reliable and of better quality. The project is being advanced through joint investment by the Government of Nepal and the Nepal Electricity Authority.

The District Administration Office, Dhading, has published a public notice informing that land acquisition is to be carried out for the construction of transmission towers. In accordance with Sections 9, 10, and 11 of the Land Acquisition Act, 2034 (1977), concerned stakeholders have been invited to submit their claims for compensation.

It has been stated that within 15 days from the date the notice is first published, landowners or users must submit an application to the concerned project office, affixing a Rs 10 stamp and enclosing documents that verify their ownership or usage rights.

Additionally, if there is any legal basis on which the land should not be acquired, an application detailing such grounds may be submitted within the specified deadline.

The District Administration Office has clarified that if applications are not submitted within the specified deadline, the process will proceed in accordance with the law. Applications may be submitted to the Trishuli–3B Ratmate–Galchhi 220 kV Transmission Line Project at the site office located in Belkotgadhi Municipality–7, Mahadevphant, Ratmate, Nuwakot.
